The Queen Elizabeth Highway, often referred to as the QEW, is an Ontario freeway linking Toronto, ON with the Niagara Peninsula and Buffalo, NY. The freeway technically starts in Fort Erie, on the northern shore of Lake Erie and the US border, and runs 139 km (86 m)to Toronto. Windsor and western Ontario are linked to the QEW via Highway 403 near Hamilton.
