This lacrosse club is one of the top teams in the National Lacrosse League. Supported by the Toronto Rock dance team and very enthusiastic fans, they play home games at the Air Canada Centre January through April.
The Toronto St. Michael's Majors are members of the Ontario Hockey League. The team plays at the St. Michael's Arena on Bathurst Street. Their season runs from about the end of October to the middle of March. Playoff season runs until the end of March and into April.
Members of the North American A-League, which is an umbrella of the United Soccer League, the Toronto Lynx club plays home games in the Centennial Park Stadium. The season runs from April until August.
A team in the American Hockey League, the Toronto Marlies play at Ricoh Coliseum from October through April.
In 2002, the Toronto Argonauts, members of the Canadian Football League, celebrated there 130th year, making them one of the oldest franchises in North America. The Argonauts have won 14 Grey Cups (top prize in the league). The Argo's as they are known around the city, play at Toronto's SkyDome and a regular football season runs from about the beginning of June to the end of October.
Proud in their bright red, purple and black uniforms, the Toronto Raptors will astound audiences as they shoot at the hoop with finesse. This younger NBA team plays regularly during the months of October through to April. The home nest of the Raptors is the Air Canada Centre.
Thrill to the action of the good ole' hockey game as the Toronto Maple Leafs take on a series of NHL opponents. The Leafs shoot the puck in the Air Canada Centre and through out North America from October until April.
